Shabbat Supper Club

The idea for the Shabbat Supper Club comes from Debbie Albert of Philadelphia who started a program called, “Guess Who’s Coming to Shabbas” as a living tribute to her father and CJ Magazine recently featured the idea.

Our initiative will begin with a Shabbat Dinner at the synagogue on Friday, December 20^th for those individuals and/or families who would like to be in the first group of hosts.  The dinner will model how a Shabbat table service can be done (multiple variations based on level of comfort, Hebrew, etc.), feature easy Kosher meal suggestions and answer any questions participants may have.  If you are interested in being in this first group of hosts, please contact Cathy Swerdlow at kehillaclc@tiflorida.org.
