Our new initiatives to enhance our Shabbat experience have begun! On January 25th, 2014 we held our first Prayerful Meditation workshop and 21 people came at 9:30 am. Everyone agreed it was a wonderful experience.
Come experience it yourself. We’ll have two workshops every month:
A monthly addition to our Shabbat morning worship, we will join together to uncover the treasures within the Jewish spiritual traditions and tools.
In lieu of the regular sermon, we will seek to understand how Jewish spirituality works and how we can make it work for us – analyzing our history and poetry, the function and power of our prayers and their combined effect on our lives and our world.
A monthly experiential workshop to help open up the channels of spirit that connect us to God. Led by Rabbi Joshua Neely, this will include meditation, guided imagery, breathing exercises and more. We will meet at 9:30 am in the Savage Family Chapel.
