Kadima is the middle school age affiliate of USY, kadima in Hebrew means “forward.” This group of enthusiastic preteens creates an environment all their own. The 6th-8th graders plan trips to theme parks, go play paintball, and cultivate their Judaism in their own special way. USY (Download USY Application)
USY is an international organization that begins at local synagogues like Temple Israel. TIUSY (Temple Israel United Synagogue Youth) is an organization for teens in high school to experience Judaism in a fun and memorable way. TIUSY has monthly events that include a range of social events that always include some form of tikkun olam (social action).
