Simchat Torah
Simchat Torah Honoree Nominations The deadline is coming for making your Simchat Torah Honoree nominations. Simchat Torah honorees are those persons whose volunteerism has gone above and beyond in their efforts to improve the congregational life of Temple Israel. We honor two men and two women on Simchat Torah. Please let Terri Fine know who you would like to receive these honors. She may be contacted at drmisty@juno.com or 407-671-6257. Nominations are due no later than Wednesday, September 15, 2010. All nominations will be kept confidential.

Sisterhood
Sisterhood - Come Grow With Us!
Sisterhood Yogalates Exercise Class Come relax and get into shape while the kids learn at Temple Israel. Sisterhood will hold one-hour fitness class with certified instructors. The first class is free, subsequent classes are a nominal $5 per class. Classes will be held in Meeting Room 2 on Sunday mornings at 9:15 am (during Religious School) and on Wednesday afternoons at 4:30 pm. (during Religious School) See you there.

Sisterhood CookbookSisterhood is collecting recipes for an upcoming cookbook, and we are hungry for more. We have requested copies of your favorite kosher recipes by topic. So far, we have covered the following topics: desserts; appetizers; soup/salad; kugel/pasta; vegetarian dishes; meat dishes; and poultry recipes. We are still accepting recipes from all of these topics. Please submit copies of your favorites to Marion Daitzman or Sandy Oser. E-mails of your computerized recipes are also welcome.
